"High-quality training of medical specialists and increasing the prestige of medical professions, the creation of innovative equipment and advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques, scientific research, the development of preventive medicine, educational activities and awareness-raising among our citizens. All these tasks remain very relevant. The Award for Contribution to the Health of the Nation is an important and necessary project that supports, unites like–minded people, and provides motivation," said Artem Narkevich, Director of the Department of Medical Education and Personnel Policy in Healthcare at the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
More than a hundred nominees became laureates: civilian and military doctors, journalists, public figures, representatives of NGOs, manufacturers – those who carry out activities in order to preserve health. The geography of the laureates covers the whole country: Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Perm, Orenburg, Yevpatoria, Ufa, Rostov-on-Don, etc.
"There have been many truly breakthrough projects that strengthen our sovereignty in the field of health. "An important aspect that many participants noted is that the Award has created a multidimensional format that includes not only different areas of activity, such as legal or educational, but also a project of a complex of scientific researchers and developers, technologies, classical medicine and preventive medicine with
traditional and innovative methods of healing. And this cocktail
turns out to be really beneficial for the health of society," said Natalia Vstovskaya, Executive Director of the NAMESAKE.
